Ambassadors of Africa for Africa Youth Initiative participate at United Nations Conference, marking International Youth Day 2019.
The Africa for Africa Youth Initiative (A4A), a unique youth platform birthed by the man of God, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome, gives young African leaders the voice to speak up and air their views, contributing meaningfully to nation-building.
As part of activities marking this year’s International Youth Day (IYD) commemoration, the United Nations organized a special conference to deliberate on ‘the Intersection between Education and Global Opportunities.’
The event held at the United Nations’ headquarters in Africa, located in Nairobi, Kenya.
The International Youth Day (IYD) was instituted by the United Nations and is celebrated annually by youth-based organisations and government agencies across the globe on August 12. It was designated with the intent to draw attention to a given set of cultural and legal issues surrounding youth. This year, the focus of the IYD is on transforming education.
Africa for Africa Youth, as an active youth organization in Africa, has taken the lead in marking the International Youth Day 2019, with an engaging line-up of impactful activities including a special peace walk at African Universities where the presence of Africa for Africa Youth, is registered.
There is no doubt that the man of God, Pastor Chris, is raising a generation of young, intelligent, bold and influential leaders from Africa and of Africa, who will contribute meaningfully to making the world a better place.
