Christ Embassy Teens and Youth Church in Warri, host capacity building program for public school teachers.
On Saturday, January 4th, the Teens and Youth Ministry of Christ Embassy Warri Ministry Center, South-South Nigeria, organized a unique capacity building seminar for public school teachers in Delta State. The special event was held to begin introducing perfection into the educational system in Delta State by exposing teachers to the wisdom of God’s Word and other relevant trainings.
Over 3,000 teachers from 5 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Delta State attended the conference. The historic event was graced by top government functionaries in the state including Delta State Deputy Governor, His Excellency Deacon Kingsley Otuaro, the Honorable Commissioner for Education, Chief Patrick Ukah, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Comrade Samuel Dietake and others. The special guest of honor at the event was the esteemed Director of Christ Embassy Warri Ministry Center and CEC Member, Evangelist (Dr.) Eddy Owase.
Pastor Afolabi Adun, a renowned speaker and coach was the key facilitator at the conference. During the sessions, Pastor Afolabi exposed teachers present to information that improves their work and personality as life-builders. Several school heads and teachers were recognized and given cash prizes for their immense support to the establishment and growth of Teevo clubs in various schools across the state.
Evangelist (Dr.) Eddy Owase seized the opportunity to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all present. He preached the Word with simplicity, great precision and power, causing the hearts of the hearers to be drawn to God with joy and leading to the salvation of many. All attendees received a copy of the classic book, ‘the Power of Your Mind’, authored by the man of God, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome. They were also gifted with free Pastor Chris Digital Library vouchers to gain access to the timely message of the year, ‘the Year of Perfection’ and free copies of the Rhapsody of Realities Study Bible.
In a vote of thanks to the organizers of the event, the spokesperson for the teachers stated that he had been a teacher for decades, yet this was the best seminar he had ever attended. He further expressed his deep appreciation to the man of God, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome, for this great vision and initiative.The Teachers Rendezvous Conference was a tremendous success and has opened more doors for the establishment of TeeVo clubs in more schools across the state.
