We completed our 7-Day Global Prayer Hour yesterday, and we’re blessed for it. The effects have begun already: Praise the Lord! Remember to continue with your local church prayer program, some of which may include fasting for specified periods, as directed by the pastor.
We’re enjoined to ”Pray without ceasing” 1Thes 5:17; and in 1Timothy 2:1-4 thus ”I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth”. Psalms 7:9 says, ’Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins’. Isaiah 2:2 says, ’And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it’.
At our times of prayer today, we’ll pray fervently in tongues of the Spirit, with our focus on the verses of Scripture above. The Lord’s will prevails. Amen!
